The Boston Emergency Department (ED) Consortium was incorporated in the Spring of 1993. The ED Consortium was developed to provide educational programs for the professional development of emergency nurses to enhance patient care. The programs provided are reflective of the standards of practice of the Emergency Nurses Association.
Membership consist of representatives from the following Boston teaching hospitals; Boston Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital, St Elizabeth's Medical Center, and Tufts Medical Center and The Floating Hospital For Children.
